About VÆR

VÆR doesn't exist. It's a design study: a fictional independent watchmaker and its first watch, made to test how far a product website can work like a film.

The rule for the study was the same one a small atelier would set itself. Few elements, each one deliberate. The watch is heavier than the interface. Light does the decorating.

Everything you see was made for this project: the photographs are generated, the 3D watch is built in code, the sound is synthesised in your browser.
