VÆR / 01
One watch. Nothing extra.
Thirty-nine millimetres of titanium, a dark brushed dial and a movement you can watch through the back. VÆR / 01 has three hands and no date. That was the brief, and it stayed that way.

01
Movement
Automatic, beating at 4 Hz: 28,800 vibrations an hour, which is why the seconds hand glides in eight small steps a second instead of ticking. Through the caseback you see straight-grained bridges, the rotor and the balance wheel.

02
Materials
Grade 5 titanium for the case, brushed on the flanks and mirror-polished on a narrow bevel, so a single line of light runs around the top edge. Sapphire on both sides.

03
Strap
Dark calf leather, 20 mm at the lugs, tone-on-tone stitching and a titanium pin buckle. Quiet enough to disappear under a cuff.

04
Craft
Every surface is finished by hand and checked under a loupe before anything moves on: raw, machined, brushed, polished, finished.
